The classes to be held on 22 August 2010 will be:-
Texturing on Silver
Sally Moore
Learn how to cut out and file sheet silver accurately to create the desired shape. Then learn how to soften silver to allow texturing. You will have the opportunity to experiment, prior to using silver. You will then be shown how to drill and attach any findings

Beaded Crystals
Janet Hope
Janet teaches you how to transform a sparkling Swarovski crystal Rivoli, using tubular peyote stitch. She’ll show you lots of examples of exciting ways to embellish the bezeled bead with crystals and tiny beads. Some experience of beadweaving preferred.

Embossing on Metal
Sally Moore
If you’re looking for a truly hands-on approach to working with metal (sawing, shaping, filing and embossing) then this is definitely the class for you. You’ll learn all the basics, without the need for expensive equipment.

With the demand for Chainmaille continuing to grow, we welcome Sandra back with another fabulous weave. This is a great class for complete beginners to the technique.

Swarovski Pearl Knotting

Swarovski crystal pearls are simply the best money can buy, and (very helpfully) they come strung onto high quality thread all ready for you to knot. Our pearl knotting workshop teaches you how to knot pearls using the double strand method. You’ll also learn the traditional way to attach a clasp using French wire – a very useful technique!
Supply List
One strand of Swarovski pearls, in the size of your choice. One pack of 8mm pearls makes a 17” necklace (approx.)
One clasp
Note: Please leave the pearls on the thread.

Our ‘Crazy Torque’ classes are always a sell-out, and if you love the design of that necklace, you’ll be delighted with this new twist on the idea. Sparkling with Czech glass and cleverly constructed using pins and loops, this piece is simple to make and looks fabulous.
